Activity similar to the EGF (epidermal growth factor)
has been found in mare’s milk. EGF promotes growth gastro intestinal
tissue, which restrains gastrie ulcer and stimulates growth of the
intestine mucous membrane. There was found about 7-8 mg EGF per liter
milk.
